A leader in energy efficiency, RHA's work involves the design, implementation and administration of small- and large-scale energy efficiency programs throughout the state of California from the Oregon border to the Mexican border and into Nevada to commercial and residential customers.
RHA manages all aspects of energy efficiency including energy audits, home weatherization, customer energy education, energy training, refrigerator replacement and recycling, and furnace repair and replacement as well as direct installation of energy efficient measures.
In its 30 years of existence RHA has managed programs serving more than 13 million people. In 2007 alone, RHA has achieved energy savings of approximately 57,351,000 kWh, and in return, 360,623,088 pounds of C02 was not released into the air, which is the equivalent to not burning 18,588,818 gallons of gas.
As the prime contractor on federal, state and investor owned utility contracts, RHA ensures its team of 250 employees and over 85 subcontractors and their employees meet program goals. This team continuously strives to provide clients with innovative and creative programs that reduce the state’s energy demand. Furthermore, our team is fully versed in DEER and E3 energy savings measurements.

PG&E’s Energy Watch Program, 2004-2008
Throughout the City of Fresno, City of Madera, Cities of Merced/Atwater, City of Stockton the Energy Watch team produced 23,391,444 kWh savings during the 2004-2008 period that translates into 147,085,399 pounds of CO2 savings or not burning 7,581,721 gallons of gasoline.

SDG&E’s Xtreme Energy Makeover, 2008
RHA was thrilled to debut the nation’s first Xtreme Energy Makeover in San Diego on behalf of SDG&E, April 5, 2008. The Xtreme Energy Makeover took an existing home, and transformed it into a modern example of extreme energy efficiency, demonstrating a host of opportunities for homes, especially those built before 1979. A series of four Open House events featured many energy-saving products throughout the home such as: solar energy, new high- technology windows, new Energy Star® appliances, a tankless and solar water heater, a whole house fan, energy-saving pool pump, energy-efficient lighting, a new HVAC unit, water conservation measures, and many more energy conservation features.
